Michael Tilson-Thomas's 1925 Mediterranean home in Miami is featured on the
real estate page of today's WSJ, though the house does not appear to be for sale. Features include a tower room, where the Maestro retreats to work & study scores, & a telephone that only makes out-going calls.

I read the article last night while browsing on WSJ website. What I find most interesting is that Frank Gehry was his babysitter! Strange indeed.
Yes, I thought that was interesting as well, though given their shared LA backgrounds, perhaps we should not have been too surprised. My favorite part of the article was MTT's idea to have the New World Symphony building look like "a ruined Mayan City in a big jungle."
