Even though it was clear all day, clouds rolled in during the evening, but fortunately they were not quite low enough to obscure the 4th of July fireworks show along the waterfront. I viewed it from the hill path between Fort Mason & Aquatic park, which overlooks one of the launch areas. The crowds were really dense. The spectacle included ringed planets, Necker Cubes, hemispheres, red hearts, disks, & zigzagging spermatozoa. The crowd laughed at a series of smiley faces that had misshapen mouths & looked apathetic rather than happy.

4th of July
