We can see La Scala Opera at The Vogue Theatre on Sacramento Street this month. Some of the casts looks great. I doubt that Roberto Alagna's walk-off from Aida is included, though.
I appreciate your spirit, sfmike. Of course I prefer being at a live performance to a filmed one, but fortunately these are not mutually exclusive choices. I'm very proud to live in a city with a world-class opera house.
