I just looked up "sein" in 501 German Verbs, & the example sentence is "Die drei Nornen sangen von allem, was war, ist und sein wird." I take this as a warning that I must not miss tomorrow's final Ring Cycle performance of Götterdämmerung at San Francisco Opera.

Just curious: of the 501 verbs in that book, which is your favorite?
Sadly, I am not the sort of person who can rightly be called klug or who has a favorite verb, auf Deteusch or in any other language. It is fun to say "ausgezeichnet" though.
I've been saying "Goddamnit" all day. This must mean I have to go to Gotterdammerung too.
